🎒 Project Overview

Project Description

This Special Project is an Instructional Design Plan supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth, ****specifically Target 8.3, promote policies to support job creation and growing enterprises (The Global Goals). The youth-at-risk of Onesimo Foundation lack proper guidance in starting a business, with limited access to online resources due to inadequate mobile technology. The Onesimo Incubation Program is designed to address the instructional gap by providing essential resources and support for interested youth trainees who aspire to start their own businesses but lack sufficient assistance.

This special project is built on Constructivism by Jean Piaget (1950s) and Experiential Learning Theory by David Kolb (1984), which really boost learners by recognizing what they already know and offering hands-on learning experiences that suit their needs. The pedagogies and principles used were aligned in these theories to cater to the prior knowledge of the learners and provide an avenue to develop the skills they already have.

The ADDIE Model used by the Center for Educational Technology at Florida State University during the 1970s was the Instructional Model used for this special project. It follows the 5 phases of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation that resulted to effective and impactful business ideas and proposals of the learners.
